4X RISK

60%

How much using a cellphone increases your risk of crashing

Texting while driving is six times more dangerous than driving under the influence of alcohol. This alarming fact highlights how even a quick glance at your phone dramatically increases your risk on the road. Unlike intoxication, which impairs reflexes, texting takes your eyes, hands, and focus off driving—all at once. It's a silent threat that feels harmless but can be far deadlier than most realize.

Texting while driving increases your crash risk by 23 times.
This staggering statistic shows just how dangerous a quick glance at your phone can be. When drivers take their eyes off the road—even for a few seconds—they drastically reduce their reaction time, awareness, and control. Texting divides attention between driving and typing, making a serious accident far more likely. It’s not just a distraction — it’s a 23x multiplier on danger.

SmartSafe Cassette Player for Vehicles

The SmartSafe cassette player elevates both safety and convenience behind the wheel. With a simple double press, it opens to reveal a cassette-style compartment designed to securely accommodate smartphones of any size. Once the device is placed on the integrated wireless charger and the cassette player is closed, the driver can shift the vehicle into drive—ensuring the phone is safely stored before the journey begins.

The cassette player is acoustically sealed, silencing all incoming notifications to significantly reduce distractions. At the same time, it fully supports Apple CarPlay, allowing seamless access to navigation, calls, and music through the vehicle’s infotainment system—without ever handling the phone. A tinted cover discreetly conceals the device, further minimizing visual distractions.

Meticulously engineered, the SmartSafe cassette player represents a breakthrough innovation designed to eliminate distracted driving and redefine in-vehicle safety.

SmartSafe Scooter Cassette Player

The SmartSafe Cassette Player places rider safety at the forefront. The scooter enables twist-and-go throttle operation only after the smartphone is securely stored inside the cassette player, effectively preventing texting while riding.

For added convenience, the system is centrally mounted on the handlebar and features an LED ring that illuminates red when empty and green once the phone is secured—confirming the device is locked, protected, and wirelessly charging. The integrated façade display presents essential ride information, including speed, fuel level, and navigation. A dedicated navigation button projects turn-by-turn directions as a heads-up display on the windshield, helping riders remain focused on the road ahead.

To further enhance peace of mind, SmartSafe supports automatic text replies, hands-free Bluetooth helmet calls, and real-time riding behavior tracking through the SmartSafe app—delivering a safer, smarter riding experience.

SmartSafe Console

SmartSafe is an advanced “smart start” system that enhances vehicle safety by ensuring all driver devices—smartphone, Apple Watch, and smart glasses—are securely stored in the center console and the driver is wearing their seatbelt before the vehicle can shift into drive. The console features UV lighting to disinfect gadgets and an EMF-shielding battery to reduce radiation exposure. For navigation, drivers can utilize Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Additionally, the SmartSafe Console integrates seamlessly with home automation systems. Equipped with a transmitter, it syncs effortlessly to trigger preset actions upon your arrival, such as opening the garage door or activating lighting scenes. This intelligent connectivity streamlines entry and reinforces the console’s versatility, making it a standout feature in modern vehicles. Its ability to bridge automotive and home automation systems sets a new standard for integrated living.

SmartSafe Override

If the driver loses access to their smartphone—the primary means of starting the vehicle—a backup emergency start option is available. This mechanism is securely housed in the glove compartment and is intended strictly for urgent situations. Pressing the emergency button alone won’t start the vehicle; remote authorization is required. In Parent Mode, approval must come from the driver’s parent or legal guardian via the integrated parental control system. In Fleet Mode, authorization must be granted by the designated fleet manager through the fleet control interface. When authorization is granted, the green light on the key will display.

Solutions to the Halt Law

The video above highlights solutions tied to the HALT Drunk Driving Act, passed by Congress in 2021, which directs the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to implement new federal safety standards for all passenger vehicles. The law requires automakers to equip new cars with technology that can passively detect driver intoxication and prevent the vehicle from operating if impairment or drowsiness is present. In addition to combating drunk driving and fatigue, the legislation emphasizes addressing distracted driving and encourages the development of advanced monitoring systems capable of detecting alcohol use, drug impairment, distraction, and drowsiness, ultimately aiming to enhance overall road safety.
